Liposuction
How Does Liposuction Work?
During liposuction, up to 10 pounds of fat is removed from your body. After numbing the treatment area, we inject a special solution to minimize blood loss and
expedite fat cell removal.
Our surgeon then makes small incisions in the treatment area. Next, a tube called a cannula is inserted through the incisions. The cannula is used to gently suction
out excess fat cells.
Liposuction itself is not a weight loss treatment. Instead, it achieves attractive contouring that can provide a beautiful complement to your dieting and exercise achievements.
Common Treatment Areas Enhanced by Liposuction
Liposuction plastic surgery is an especially popular body contouring procedure among those who want to enhance:
- Tummy
- Hips
- Arms
- Lower back
- Chest
- Buttocks
- Thighs
- Under the chin
"Dr. Castillo and his staff are amazing."
I would highly recommend Dr. Castillo. He is an amazing doctor. I had breast lift with implants, extended tummy tuck. Also liposuction. I am very pleased. I am in process of getting something else and I’m going back without a thought.

As soon as I walked into his office they made me feel I can trust them... I am really happy with my results and with my experience. I definitely recommend to go with Dr. Castillo.
View On GoogleLiposuction Is Not a Weight Loss Solution
At My Best Body Ever in Tijuana, Mexico, our plastic surgeon prides himself on being absolutely straightforward with each patient. A common misconception people have is that liposuction is a weight loss solution. This is not the case.
A patient should be close to their ideal weight before receiving liposuction.
